Peer Recovery
We believe that you don’t just need recovery from trauma, substance use, or mental health issues, but also life events such as health issues, grief, isolation, and stress.
At Rooted Recovery Resources, we are peers in active recovery using our faith in Jesus Christ and lived experiences to educate, instill hope, and empower.
Everyone needs to recover and heal to live a life of freedom, which is why we also serve loved ones and advocates by providing peer support. Peer Support is a structured relationship where a trained peer worker, who has gone through a personal process of recovery with a mental health and/or substance use challenge, helps peers to identify and achieve life goals.
The road to recovery can be long and lonely. We hope to shorten it, add meaningful education, and connections in a community setting. Participating in peer recovery creates an attitudinal shift that can catapult you and your family forward to a life of peaceful recovery.
The challenges faced by a marriage inevitably resonate throughout the entire family unit. At Rooted Recovery Resources, we offer a sophisticated yet deeply personal coaching model rooted in the understanding of the unique stressors that impact modern relationships.
Our practitioners provide more than traditional guidance; we serve as peers in active recovery. Having navigated our own significant trials, we offer a professional, judgment-free environment where couples are empowered to identify and achieve their collective goals. By viewing restoration through a peer-led lens, couples experience a profound attitudinal shift—moving beyond simply enduring their history toward a future defined by mutual freedom and stability.
