About Us
Peer Recovery
We believe that you don’t just need recovery from trauma, substance use, or mental health issues, but also life events such as health issues, grief, isolation, and stress. At Rooted Recovery Resources we are peers in active recovery using our faith and lived experiences to educate, instill hope, and empower.
Everyone needs to recover and heal to live a life of freedom that’s why we also serve loved ones and advocates by providing peer support. Peer Support is a structured relationship where a trained peer worker, who has gone through a personal process of recovery with a mental health and/or substance use challenge, helps peers to identify and achieve life goals.
The road to recovery can be long and lonely. We hope to shorten it, add meaningful education, and connection in a community setting. Participating in peer recovery creates an attitudinal shift that can catapult you and your family forward to a life of peaceful recovery.
