My Lighthouse
Dreaming is important and Gary is the dreamer in our relationship. He has been teaching me to dream for a long time, but I have been a slow learner. This lighthouse is a spark that started my path of dreaming. I don’t know if it will be ours someday, but it’s been a fun journey. I have realized that dreaming is not about the end result as much as it’s about the adventure.

In 2023 Gary and I were contacted about a local lighthouse being decommissioned. The article stated there was an application process to under go. I was prompted multiple times to apply, and so I went through the process which included: the initial application, a tour where we were to inspect it and a final form to submit. We are excited to see what happens with this beautiful location. Updates to follow.

Build it.
Over 20 years ago God gave me a blueprint to restore community. It’s concrete and replicable. I often think about it and wonder how God will make it come to fruition. The lighthouse fits into this plan. I hope it will be a prototype for restoring unity and restoration. Click below to read about plans for the lighthouse.
